Sixteen SOMBikers rode over to Trader Joe's in Maplewood today, to see the new bike rack they installed; the manager brought out water and energy bars for us. As you can see in the photo, most of us parked out bikes nearby. We will offer some suggestions to management about placement.

Wow! This was done so perfectly wrong I couldn't have predicted it better. I bet cyclists going to a Trader Joe's in Austin, Seattle or Phoenix wouldn't have to ask for bicycle parking and it wouldn't be substandard junk like this!
ReplyDeleteI saw a guy with a bike there today, trying to figure out how to use it. He ended up parking his bike lengthwise, across is, which is really the only thing you can do.
